Welcome on board

After working in London for many years I changed everything to pursue my passion for sailing, travel and adventure and moved to Italy to set up Oh Susannah Charters in 2017.

Sailing south to escape lockdown I met Vanessa on the island of Malta. With a shared love of the sea and adventure we quickly hit it off and got married in 2022. We sailed back to the Amalfi Coast along with our dog Marley and the latest edition to the family our daughter Sofia was born on NYE 2023.

Oh Susannah Charters is a family business. Together with our amazing skippers we pride ourselves on creating a warm welcome to our guests, many of whom become good friends and return year after year.

Hand picked destinations and custom tailored itineraries

The call of adventure, new horizons and the open sea is powerful. From the Amalfi Coast and Gulf of Naples we have expanded our itineraries to include Greece, Sicily, Sardinia/Corsica and the Caribbean.

I have sailed each of these destinations many times and offer bespoke itineraries tailored to your preferences.

I work with a hand picked selection of other skippers, whom I trust, have sailed with, and are good friends who share a similar approach and passion for their work.

Oh Susannah has been coded for commercial charter in 2022 meeting the highest British Marine and Coastguard Agency safety standards. In other locations I partner with trusted and high quality charter providers and will find you the ideal boat, either catamaran or monohull, based on your group size and budget.

The best food on earth

An abundance of fresh, delicious, high quality ingredients and a culture and tradition based on preparing, sharing and enjoying good food and wine are important principles for enjoying life.

Amalfi lemons, Sicilian almonds and capers, greek olives and figs - sampling the local delicacy at each stop on your adventure is a pleasure that should not be missed. We have carefully scoped out and sampled all the top spots so you don’t miss out!

An optional food and drink package is available on most charters.
